Arthur Hills designed the 27-hole Bay Harbor Golf Club, opening in 1998 in Petoskey along five miles of Lake Michigan shoreline at the BOYNE Golf parent property. The Links/Quarry combination is the championship 18 most groups book — the Links nine plays through dunes and lake-edge terrain, while the Quarry nine winds through an old shale quarry now reclaimed. Golf Digest named the Links/Quarry one of America's 100 Greatest Public Courses since the inaugural 2003 edition; peak ranking was #23 in 2007-08, currently #100 for 2025-26.
