Tom Fazio carved the Quarry Course at Black Diamond Ranch out of a former limestone quarry in Lecanto in 1987 — dramatic quarry walls and exposed rock faces frame several holes in a setting unlike anything else in Florida. The semi-private course is world-renowned according to locals and worth the green fee for the Quarry nine alone. Twenty minutes from Cabot Citrus Farms, it adds geological drama to a trip dominated by Cabot's sandy heathland courses.
