Rees Jones opened Cascata in 2000 on a 640-acre canyon outside Boulder City, roughly 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The signature feature is impossible to miss, a 418-foot cascading waterfall that runs through the middle of the clubhouse and the course, and Jones himself called the property "the eighth wonder of the golf world." The course is a perennial national name: Golf Digest places it at #74 on America's 100 Greatest Public Courses (2025-26, peak #46 in 2015-16). Golf Magazine ranks it #86 on Best Public Course in America (2024). Golfweek has it at #76 on Best Public Courses (2025) and #67 on Best Resort Courses (2026). Sports Illustrated called it "Golf's hidden treasure" at opening. A second option for a higher-end Vegas round beyond Shadow Creek, and at meaningfully lower price.
Cascata Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $399 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Las Vegas trip cost
