About

The Park West Palm is an 18-hole, par-70 public course stretching 6,900 yards, located two miles from Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. It sits on the historic grounds of the Dick Wilson-designed West Palm Beach Golf Course, originally built in 1947 and later closed as a municipal facility. A community-driven $55 million-plus fundraising effort, backed by more than 130 donors, financed the resurrection and redesign of the site. Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, with Dirk Ziff, completed the redesign in 2023. The project is widely cited as a model for municipal golf revitalization. The renovated facility includes a Hanse-designed lighted 9-hole short course and a two-acre kids' zone alongside the main 18-hole layout. The course is part of the Florida Historic Golf Trail and carries a mid-range price point ($$).
