Incline Village - Championship Course

Robert Trent Jones Sr. opened the Championship Course at Incline Village in 1964, set above the north shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada. The course was completely renovated in 2003, bunkering, greens, and tee complexes refreshed without changing the routing. The front nine features bold elevation changes through tall pines, while the inward stretch threads creek-protected holes for a more refined finish. GolfPass Golfers' Choice 2022 named it #17 best course in the U.S., #2 nationwide for conditions, #3 nationwide for layout, and #3 overall in Nevada. Golf Advisor put it at #19 on its Top 50 Best Courses to Play in the U.S. and #10 on Best Courses in Nevada (2018). Golf Digest has it on Best in State 2012-15 and Golfweek had it on Best Courses to Play (2011) and Best State-by-State (2020). Public-access pricing in the $$ band, strong value for a course this consistently rated.
