Post-Katrina championship-length rebuild combining the original Robert Trent Jones Sr. East and West nines into a single Rees Jones routing through City Park's stately live oaks. The 2017 redesign, by Rees Jones with Greg Muirhead and Torre Design Consortium, was the centerpiece of a $26M revitalization led by the Bayou District Foundation, on land that was destroyed when Katrina flooded City Park in 2005. 7,200 yards from the back tees, multiple sets dropping to ~5,000 yards. Low-profile design that meanders through hundred-year-old oaks; 46 bunkers; firm-fast Champion Bermuda greens. The benchmark public course in New Orleans proper and a member of the Audubon Golf Trail. Walkable to French Quarter dinners and a 15-minute drive from the CBD, a rare championship muni in a major American city.
Montgomery Bell State Park Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $69 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $60. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Tennessee Golf Trail trip cost
