Tom Fazio designed Osprey Point at Kiawah Island in 1988 and returned in 2014 for a full renovation. Several holes run parallel to water hazards and freshwater marshes, with deep bunkering defending greens of varying sizes. It's one of the more playable courses at Kiawah — a break from the penal demands of the Ocean Course — without sacrificing shot values. Golf Digest includes Osprey Point in its America's Top 75 Resort Courses and awards 4.5 stars in Best Places to Play. Golf for Women magazine ranked it #10 on the 50 Best Golf Courses for Women. Golf Digest's Best in State (SC) has it 44th for 2025-26. A solid mid-stack round on a Kiawah weekend — most serious golfers pair it with the Ocean Course and Turtle Point.
