The Scotsdale Course at Bella Vista Village in northwest Arkansas is one of Edmund B. Ault's strongest Ozark designs, opened in 1987 as part of the Bella Vista POA's seven-course golf portfolio, roughly 90 minutes north of Fort Smith. The 6,776-yard par-72 layout plays to a 72.1 rating and 128 slope, working through the rolling foothills of the Boston Mountains with the kind of elevation changes the region is famous for. The par-3 15th is the course's calling-card hole, a severe downhill tee shot with genuinely impressive views across the Ozark countryside, one of those moments where the drive to the course feels worth it just to stand on the tee. The par-5 18th is the local favorite, mixing risk-reward length with a finishing green complex that creates memorable closing moments for both the scoring player and the grinding-to-double-bogey one. Scotsdale sits in the same pricing and playing tier as DeSoto at Hot Springs Village, Ault's prolific Arkansas work shows up at both ends of the state.
Bella Vista - Scotsdale's peak-season green fee is around $65 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Arkansas Natural State Trail trip cost
