Clyde Johnston (Hilton Head-based architect) designed Cherry Blossom in Georgetown, Kentucky, opening in 2001 on a 178-acre property north of Lexington. The course gets its name from the cherry trees lining several holes, blooming in spring and signaling the start of central Kentucky's golf season.
