Bardstown's flagship public course, on Maywood land in Nelson County. David Pfaff (Carmel CA, also designed Quail Chase in Louisville) laid out the routing in 1995; voted one of Golf Digest's best new public courses at opening. After Chris Osborne's family bought the property in 2003, Spencer Holt (Arthur Hills protégé) led an extensive bunker, tee-box and green renovation; many holes were lengthened. Bentgrass greens, Riviera Bermuda fairways. Plays from 4,600 to 7,200+ yards across five tee sets. Walkable from the Bourbon Capital's distillery cluster, the most logistical-fit Bardstown round if you're staying near Maker's Mark, Heaven Hill, or the Bourbon Heritage Center.
Peninsula Golf Resort's peak-season green fee is around $65 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $45. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Kentucky Bourbon Golf Trail trip cost
