Pete Dye's Kentucky resort course on Herrington Lake, 30 minutes south of Lexington in Lancaster. Built in 1997 across 200 acres of rolling Garrard County terrain, the course plays 6,647 yards par 72 from the championship tees with a 71.5 rating and 124 slope, modest by Dye standards, but the routing along the lake's irregular shoreline and the trademark Dye green complexes do the defending. Resort lodging is on-property: 24 two-bedroom villas built specifically for stay-and-play groups, each with kitchen, two baths, and ~1,300 square feet. The destination's natural Lex-side anchor for a bourbon trip, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, and Woodford Reserve are all within 45 minutes.
Farm d'Allie Golf Club's peak-season green fee is around $89 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $55. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Louisiana Audubon Trail trip cost
