Finkbine Golf Course

Finkbine is the University of Iowa's championship course, home to the men's and women's collegiate golf teams since opening in 1955. Robert Bruce Harris (a prolific Midwest postwar designer) handled the original routing, which Dick Nugent, Harris's assistant, later remodeled. The 7,280-yard par-72 layout is one of the most consistently regarded university courses in the Midwest. Finkbine has hosted multiple NCAA tournaments, the Amana VIP Classic, the 1991 Hogan Tour, the 1992 and 1993 Nike Tour Hawkeye Classic events, the Big Ten Championships in 1992 and 2002, and the annual Hawkeye Intercollegiate. As a university course with public access on a daily-fee basis, pricing sits in the $ band.
