Firestone Country Club - Fazio Course

Tom Fazio (with Beau Welling and Tom Marzolf contributing) designed the Fazio Course at Firestone in 2002 — a links-style routing built to complement the historic Robert Trent Jones Sr. North and South. The course rates 73.5/128 with bentgrass tees-to-greens, providing a third 18-hole option on the Firestone property alongside the WGC-host South. Fazio's broader honors are extensive — three-time Best Modern Day Golf Course Architect from Golf Digest, and the second course architect to receive the GCSAA's Old Tom Morris Award (1995). The Fazio Course is part of the Invited Clubs network at Firestone, accessible to members and member-guests, with the same Gold Circle of Excellence framing as the rest of the property. As a third round at Firestone after South and North, it's the Tom Fazio change-of-pace pick.
