Genoa Lakes - Lakes Course

Peter Jacobsen and John Harbottle designed Genoa Lakes in 1993 in the Carson Valley below the Sierra — rolling high-desert terrain with mountain views that rival the lake courses without the Tahoe-basin premium pricing. The Lakes Course is the stronger of the two nines. A good value play for groups staying on the south shore who don't mind the 30-minute drive to the valley floor.
