About Hollywood Beach Golf Club

Donald Ross, the Dornoch-born Scottish architect who designed Pinehurst No. 2, Seminole, and more than 400 other courses across the United States, laid out Hollywood Beach Golf Club in 1924, making it one of the oldest Donald Ross originals still in continuous operation in Florida. 110-acre property, par-70 championship layout, less than a mile from Hollywood's pristine beaches and shopping district. The course was comprehensively restored in 2026 by Richard Mandell Design with Quality Grassing Solutions handling grow-in and Josh & Jim McCumber leading operations, a coordinated modern restoration that preserved Ross's original greens shapes and strategic intent while modernizing drainage and conditioning. Bermuda greens and fairways. Peak green fee runs $65-115 for public tee times, extraordinary value for genuine Ross architecture in South Florida. Fits a Miami / Fort Lauderdale trip as the historic architectural pilgrimage round.
