Kendrick Golf Course is Sheridan's municipal course in the shadow of the Bighorn Mountains, a public-access 18-hole layout maintained by the City of Sheridan, with the current course configuration opened in 1980 (designed by Carl Theussen and Frank Hummel). Earlier versions of golf on the site date back earlier in the 20th century, but the current routing is modern Carl Theussen-era work. At 6,677 yards par 72 with a 70.7 rating and mild 114 slope, Kendrick plays short by modern championship standards but full of character. The links-style layout features undulating greens, wide fairways, and mature cottonwoods lining the creek that winds through the property. Bighorn Mountain views show up on nearly every hole, the tee-box horizons alone make the course a tourist-friendly round. At municipal pricing, it's one of the most accessible serious rounds in northern Wyoming. Kendrick has been ranked #5 Best in State in Wyoming. For a Sheridan itinerary, this is the budget-friendly muni round that pairs with the Powder Horn (the upscale option in town) and Big Horn Golf Club (semi-private) for a three-course trip.
Kendrick Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $45 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Sheridan trip cost
