Madden's original 1926 course, the first 18-hole resort course in Minnesota, designed by Scotsman James Dalgleish (Kansas City via Scotland). Home to Minnesota's only par-6, the 618-yard 6th hole. Tree-lined corridors, traditional small greens, generous fairways through pine and birch. Plays par 72 across roughly 6,100 yards, modest length, but the par-6 plus the back-nine Gull Lake views make it the historical heart of the Brainerd Lakes resort scene.
