Madden's original 1926 course, the first 18-hole resort course in Minnesota, designed by Scotsman James Dalgleish (Kansas City via Scotland). Home to Minnesota's only par-6, the 618-yard 6th hole. Tree-lined corridors, traditional small greens, generous fairways through pine and birch. Plays par 72 across roughly 6,100 yards, modest length, but the par-6 plus the back-nine Gull Lake views make it the historical heart of the Brainerd Lakes resort scene. Walking-friendly and the photogenic counterpart to The Classic at Madden's. Pair the two for the standard Madden's two-card weekend.
Covered Bridge Golf Club's peak-season green fee is around $95 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $65. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Kentucky Bourbon Golf Trail trip cost
