Eddie Riccoboni's 1978 Lake Marion, the parkland counterpoint to Santee National's more open layout. The 6,670-yard par-72 routing is framed by tree-lined pines and bordering lakes, with 47 sand bunkers and a 117 slope that reads easier than it plays thanks to carefully placed water carries. Miniverde Bermuda greens are a year-round signature, conditioning stays flawless through both peak and shoulder seasons. The 14th is the course's risk-reward moment: a par-4 dogleg right where a lake runs the entire right side and tall pines dare players to carry the water on a short line, with a greenside bunker right defending the well-earned approach.
