About

The marquee course on the Natural State Golf Trail and Golfweek's #34 best you-can-play in America. Ken Dye routed cathedral pines reminiscent of Augusta National, A.W. Tillinghast-inspired flashed bunkering reminiscent of Winged Foot, and domed greens with runoffs reminiscent of Pinehurst No. 2 — three architectural references in one south-Arkansas timberland routing. Owned by Murphy USA (the El Dorado-headquartered fuel retailer); managed by Troon since 2018. Recognized as one of Golf Digest's Best New Courses in 2013 and the trail's only modern marquee design. Public play with Troon Stay-and-Play packages through The Haywood (Hilton Tapestry) downtown El Dorado.
