About Oak Knoll Country Club

Robert Trent Jones Sr. design from 1987, originally a private club, now owned and operated by BREC (Baton Rouge Recreation Department). 6,969 yards par 72 across 150 acres of rolling terrain with 18 lakes and two natural waterways. Baxter Spann led a $2.1M restoration in 2006 that rebuilt bunkering to original RTJ Sr. design intent, with Mike Nuzzo and Roger Rulewich also credited on the architects list. Received Golf Digest's highest ranking for a municipal course; consistently rated among the best public golf courses in southeast Louisiana. Spanish-style clubhouse with full-service restaurant and conference space. Muni pricing on a real RTJ Sr. routing, the trail's strongest design-pedigree-per-dollar play.
