Bill Bergin and Rees Jones opened The Keep at McLemore in Fall 2024 — a mountaintop routing on Lookout Mountain, 35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The course's signature is a set of five cliffside holes overlooking McLemore Cove, with the 18th finishing along the cliff edge with sightlines extending dozens of miles into Georgia valley terrain. Sports Illustrated named The Keep the #1 Best New Course of 2025. Golfweek's Ultimate Guide to Golf Course Living and Great Escapes 2026 placed it #25 on Top 200 Resort Courses in the U.S. — the only new course to achieve top-40 status on that list.
