About

Tom Fazio designed The Snead in 2004, naming it for Sam Snead — who served as the Greenbrier's touring professional for decades and whose statue greets you at the clubhouse. Fazio's layout is the most modern of the resort's courses, with wider fairways and more forgiving angles than the historic Greenbrier and Meadows courses. The best choice for groups that want the Greenbrier resort experience without the championship-level difficulty.
