The Links Course at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms is Tom Fazio's first solo design (1980) — a landmark in his career. The oceanfront finishing holes (17 and 18) along the Atlantic are among the most dramatic closing holes in the Lowcountry. Frequently reshaped by hurricanes and rebuilt, it remains one of the most celebrated resort courses in South Carolina.
