Ron Garl's Links at Stono Ferry (1989) plays through pine-lined fairways on the front nine before opening up to dramatic Intracoastal Waterway views on the back. The island green at 18 is the signature hole. Golf Digest ranked it top 15 in South Carolina. At roughly a third of Kiawah's resort pricing, it's the hidden gem of the greater Charleston golf scene.
