Randy Heckenkemper's anchor course on the Oklahoma Golf Trail, opened in 1999 on the oak-studded shores of Lake Texoma in Kingston. Chickasaw Nation operates it as part of a Pointe Vista resort plan that never fully materialized, which is why a daily-fee course at a $49 weekday rate carries more architectural ambition than most public offerings in the region. Heckenkemper shaped the course to work with the region's natural features: towering oaks frame tree-lined fairways, rolling terrain opens to wide lake vistas, and Champion Ultra-Dwarf greens paired with Bermuda fairways keep conditioning sharper than the green fee implies. Par 72 at 7,011 yards from the tips with a slope of 135, a real test when the Texoma wind picks up. Consistently ranked among Oklahoma's top public courses by Golf Digest and one of the headline rounds on the Oklahoma Golf Trail.
