Coronado is Hot Springs Village's only executive-length course, an 18-hole par-62 at just 3,895 yards from the back tees with a modest 60.4 rating and 99 slope. Edmund Ault designed the course (opened 1983) specifically as the Village's short-game and beginner-friendly counterpoint to the nine-course portfolio's full-length tracks. It favors accuracy and scoring-club precision over length, which makes it ideal for wedge practice, family rounds, and a quick 18 when a full 7,000-yarder feels like too much. There are no sand bunkers anywhere on the course, a deliberate design choice by Ault to focus the challenge on green complexes and approach-shot placement. Despite the executive length, the course is as demanding from 150 yards as any other Village track, with small greens, subtle slopes, and tight pin positions making up-and-downs a legitimate test of short game. Coronado is the natural 'tune-up' round before a bigger day at DeSoto or Granada, and the lowest-priced round in the Village portfolio.
Coronado's peak-season green fee is around $35 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Hot Springs Village AR trip cost
