LaFortune Park Golf Course is Tulsa's marquee municipal golf facility, a 36-hole operation (18-hole Championship Course plus a lighted 18-hole par-3) at 5501 South Yale that has served the city since 1960. Floyd Farley, one of Oklahoma's most prolific homegrown architects (also credited at Southern Hills and Oak Tree National work), designed both courses; Randy Heckenkemper led a subsequent renovation. The Championship 18 plays to 6,938 yards par 72 with a 72.9 rating and 124 slope, giving it legitimate length while keeping the muni-course pricing structure. The most demanding hole is the par-4 4th at 438 yards, a dogleg right with massive old oaks guarding the inside of the bend, forcing committed driver play or a long-iron layup. The longest hole is the par-5 14th at 566 yards. Green fees run $26-$30 for the Championship (weekday/weekend), $16 seniors, $11 juniors, $8 youth, some of the most affordable championship public golf in the country. A lighted par-3 course is the twilight option. For the Oklahoma trip visitor, LaFortune is the Tulsa muni anchor and a natural pairing with Lincoln Park in OKC.
LaFortune Park Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $45 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Oklahoma Trail trip cost
