Lakewood Club at the Grand - Dogwood Course

Pairs the open Highlands nine with Marshwood, home to the longest single hole on the entire Robert Trent Jones Trail, a 701-yard par-5 sixth from the championship tees. Marshwood's lower elevation and water hazards play firm in summer; the closing stretch back to the clubhouse is the most photographed sequence at Highland Oaks. Highlands runs through the open core of the property with lakes in play and a peninsula green; transitioning to Marshwood means a step down into floodplain golf where the 6th essentially becomes the round's defining hole. Best played from the appropriate set of tees, the championship markers are tournament-only territory.
