Arthur Hills designed the Hills Course at LPGA International in 1994 on the LPGA's Daytona Beach headquarters campus, a parkland-style routing that weaves around wetlands, magnolias, and tall Florida pines. At 6,984 yards par 72 with a 138 slope and 74.5 rating, it plays as the more demanding of the two LPGA International courses; shotmakers consistently prefer it over the Rees Jones sibling. Hills's signature green complexes do the defending: tight, well-bunkered, and placed to punish aggressive approaches from the wrong angle. Fairways are undulating rather than flat, which makes distance control matter more than sheer length. Water hazards show up on most holes, most visibly framed rather than hidden. The course has earned serious tournament pedigree, host of the Men's and Women's Florida State Golf Association Championships, the NCAA Championship, and the annual final stage of LPGA Qualifying School. As an Arthur Hills Signature Course, it's the tonally more serious round when paired with the Jones Course, which is more guest-friendly. A two-course day is the standard Daytona Beach itinerary.
