Magnolia Grove - Falls

Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s 1993 Falls Course at Magnolia Grove is the shorter, slightly gentler sister to the Crossings, a par-71 routing that takes its name from a small cascading waterfall flanking the approach shot on the turn. Like Crossings, it runs across low Gulf Coast terrain north of Mobile, but the Falls layout leans more into parkland feel than marsh. Greens were rebuilt with MiniVerde Ultradwarf in the recent renovation cycle and play firmer and quicker than the Crossings. Waste bunkering, tight pine corridors on the inland holes, and water on seven of the 18 keep the strategic decisions interesting even at a modest yardage. Peak green fee sits at $45-$65, squarely in RTJ Trail value territory. Pair with Crossings and the Magnolia Grove Short Course for a three-card Mobile weekend that beats almost any resort on cost per round.
