About

Greg Norman opened Colorado's first signature design at Red Sky Golf Club on June 30, 2003 — sister course to Tom Fazio's adjacent Fazio Course. The Norman layout plays nearly 500 yards longer at 7,580 yards par 72, and is widely considered the tougher of the two Red Sky tracks. In its second year of operation, Golf Magazine named the Norman Course #1 in Colorado and #25 in the U.S. on the Top 100 You Can Play — the highest-ranked new course on that list at the time. Golf Digest has it 11th in Colorado for 2015-16 and 2023-26, and #8 on Top Venues in Colorado. The course is also listed in Travel + Leisure Golf America's Top 100. Premium-resort pricing in the $$$$ band matches the Fazio Course; for groups doing a Vail trip, the right call is to play both — the contrast between Norman and Fazio routings on the same property is rare in American resort golf.
