Arnold Palmer's 2004 Palmer Course at Reunion Resort (originally named 'The Legacy' and still often referred to that way) was the first to open at the three-course Orlando-area resort, a 6,916-yard par-72 Signature Design built on former citrus groves and preserve land with dramatic elevation changes of up to 50 feet. Rare terrain for central Florida, where most resort courses lean flat. The routing flows through residential-community sections, woodlands, and wetlands with Palmer's classic risk-reward philosophy on display throughout: water and forced carries come into play at key strategic moments, never as gimmick gating.
