Shingle Creek opened in December 2003 as the on-site course for the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort south of the Orlando convention district. The original Dave Harman routing got a Thad Layton / Arnold Palmer Design renovation in 2016, about 76 of the 110 acres were re-turfed, with the goal of softening some of the more punitive carries and tightening the green complexes. The 7,228-yard layout has been ranked best golf course in Orlando in recent reader polls and earned the Greens of Distinction Award from Corporate & Incentive Travel and the Golden Tee Award from Meetings & Conventions, both lean into the convention-and-corporate market the resort is built around. As an Orlando trip option it sits squarely in the $$ band: more polished than the daily-fee munis but well below the Bay Hill / Grand Cypress trophy round in price.
Shingle Creek Golf Club's peak-season green fee is around $119 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Orlando trip cost
