Pete and P.B. Dye designed Rum Pointe in Berlin, Maryland (1997) near Ocean City — a seaside links layout along Sinepuxent Bay with views of Assateague Island. The Dye family's trademark visual intimidation shows in the bunkering, but the bayside setting with wild ponies visible across the water makes it the most scenic round on the Maryland coast.
