Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club

Steve Smyers built Southern Dunes in 1993 on some of Florida's most dramatic terrain — rolling sand ridges near Haines City that feel more Carolina Sandhills than central Florida. Smyers would later gain fame for designing Streamsong Blue, and you can see the seeds of that design philosophy here. At half the Streamsong green fee and 30 minutes away, it's the value extension that makes a Streamsong trip a 4-day affair.
