Spring Creek Golf Course

Spring Creek Golf Course is the 9-hole regulation short course at Hershey Country Club, a 1932 Maurice McCarthy design later renovated by Tom Clark in 2006. At 2,125 yards par 33 for 9 holes (35 rating, 113 slope), it's the club's beginner and short-game companion to the championship East and West courses, designed to fit in a quick 9 before dinner at the country club or to give newer players a legitimate but manageable round. The signature hole is the par-3 5th, which plays with Milton Hershey's historic High Point Mansion (the chocolate magnate's former home, now preserved on the property) serving as the literal backdrop behind the green, a distinctive piece of central-PA Americana sitting behind an otherwise modest par-3. For the Hershey trip visitor who's playing a 36-hole day at the East and West, Spring Creek is the early-morning warm-up or post-dinner twilight round. A classic country-club short course that reflects the care Hershey's operation has put into its three-course facility for nearly a century.
