The Ledges Golf Club

Matt Dye, Pete Dye's nephew and a respected architect in his own right before his early passing, designed The Ledges Golf Club in 2007 at the foothills of Snow Canyon State Park in St. George. This is the 'upscale red-rock semi-private' card in the St. George portfolio, sitting alongside Entrada's Johnny Miller course as the architecturally ambitious destinations north of the city. 7,200 yards from the tips (three tee sets only, no forward tees), with the greens and fairway shapes leaning into the signature Dye vocabulary that Matt clearly inherited from his uncle: pot-bunkered landing zones, firm greens with subtle contour surprises, and railway-sleeper-style retaining walls in a few key spots. The backdrop does the heavy lifting visually, towering white sandstone cliffs, black lava bed fissures, and red-rock formations frame almost every hole.
