The Links at Audubon, Memphis's flagship municipal course inside Audubon Park. John Stevens laid out the original in 1951, and in late 2022 the course closed for a $8-9M Bill Bergin renovation that re-greened the entire course, rebuilt the bunkers with deep-faced modern shapes, and reshaped the green complexes. DB field crediting John Van Kleek (1927) is stale, the documented architects are Stevens (1951 original) and Bergin (2022-23 renovation). The reopened 6,423-yard par-70 routing wins the closest-to-ANGC category for municipal bunker work, conditioning and shaping reviewers have called 'hard to believe you're on a muni.' Holes 11 and 12 got the biggest design wins in the Bergin redo; the 6-9 stretch has great natural grass features around the landing zones. Most-improved green roll in the city. One of the better municipal renovations of the 2020s wave. Pair with Mirimichi for a Memphis muni-and-resort double.
The Links at Audubon's peak-season green fee is around $35 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Memphis trip cost
