The National at Reynolds Lake Oconee

Tom Fazio's 27-hole National was the fourth 18-hole layout to open at Reynolds Lake Oconee, debuting in 1997 across rolling Georgia terrain with the kind of big landing areas, big greens, and 100+ bunkers that define Fazio's late-1990s 'big' phase. The three nines (Ridge, Bluff, Cove) combine in different 18-hole pairings, with Ridge/Bluff and Bluff/Cove being the two most-played configurations. The course has been ranked inside Georgia's top 20 most years from 1999 through 2005 and recently sat 31st in 2023-24 and 36th in 2025-26 on Golf Digest's state list.
