About The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain - Saguaro Course

Jack Nicklaus opened the 27-hole layout at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in 2009, three nines (Saguaro, Tortolita, Wild Burro) routed through Sonoran desert terrain northwest of Tucson, on an 850-acre Ritz-Carlton property. The Saguaro and Tortolita combine into the championship 18 that hosted the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship from 2009 through 2013, with Geoff Ogilvy, Ian Poulter, Luke Donald, Hunter Mahan, and Matt Kuchar among the winners. The tournament 18 plays par-72, 7,833 yards from the back tees, among the longest layouts on Tour at the time. Public access is preserved through the Ritz-Carlton resort. Premium-resort pricing applies, in the same band as Troon North or other Scottsdale marquee rounds. The combination of recent Tour pedigree, Nicklaus design, and a Ritz-Carlton infrastructure makes it the headline option for a Tucson trip.
