Fighting Joe at The Shoals broke 8,000 yards from the tips when it opened in 2004 — the first course on the RTJ Trail to do so and one of the longest public courses in the South. Overlooking Wilson Lake in Muscle Shoals, it was named a top new course by Golf Digest. The layout is tough and elegant enough to stack up against some of the best courses in the country, per LINKS Magazine. The marquee stop on the Trail's northern leg.
