Sits halfway between Pequot Lakes and Crosslake on the Whitefish Chain, Brainerd Lakes' premier non-resort public course. Original 9 opened 1968; expanded to 18 in 1983. Northwoods routing through pine and birch with several Whitefish Lake views, classic clubhouse with full bar and restaurant. Golf Digest 4½-star rated. Local golfers consistently rank it among Minnesota's most enjoyable courses, with the back nine carrying most of the lake-view holes. NOTE: DB designer attribution "Joel Goldstrand (1983 redesign of 1968 original)" appears incorrect per Whitefish's own materials and the PGA of America directory, the architect of record is Don Herfort. Goldstrand designed other Brainerd-area courses (Emily Greens, Golden Eagle) but not Whitefish. Worth a manual designer correction.
Traditional Golf Course at Breezy Point's peak-season green fee is around $75 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $50. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Brainerd Lakes trip cost
