Waikoloa Beach Resort - Beach Course

Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the Beach Course at Waikoloa in 1981 through ancient lava fields along the Kohala Coast — petroglyphs are visible near several fairways. The contrast of emerald fairways against black volcanic rock with Pacific Ocean views creates one of the most visually dramatic resort rounds in Hawaii. More photogenic than challenging, and the ocean breeze adds unpredictable club selection.
