The only Robert Trent Jones Sr. design in the world built without a single bunker. Opened on the floodplain of the Flint River in Owens Cross Roads, the River Course defends with water on 16 of 18 holes, oxbows, marsh, and tributaries in lieu of sand, plus narrow fairway corridors and small greens that play firm in summer. A throwback in style: dirt was pushed up to form greens and tees, and everything else, including massive native oaks, was left intact. The result is a flatter, shadier, lower-profile counterpoint to the elevated Highlands course on the same property; most groups book both the same day.
The Lido's peak-season green fee is around $95 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $65. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Wisconsin Triangle Trail trip cost
