Gene 'Bunny' Mason's 1981 Glaze Meadow Course at Black Butte Ranch was closed in September 2010 for a comprehensive $3.75M renovation led by Oregon architect John Fought, a two-phase rebuild that reopened the front nine over Memorial Day 2012 and the full 18 holes on June 30, 2012. The renovation stretched the routing by over 400 yards to a modern 7,007-yard par-72, with all-new greens, tee complexes, and five sets of tees on every hole. Mason's original narrow Ponderosa-pine-lined fairway framework survived the rebuild intact, Fought preserved the sightlines and elevation character while modernizing the shot values and drainage. Big firm bentgrass greens, generous landing zones, and the same jaw-dropping Cascade views that define Big Meadow next door. Peak green fee runs $110-145 for resort guests. Fits Black Butte Ranch as the more demanding of the two resort cards, play it after Big Meadow for the warm-up-then-turn-up-the-heat 36-hole day.
Black Butte Ranch - Glaze Meadow's peak-season green fee is around $87 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Bend trip cost
