Brazell's Creek is the championship public course at Jack Hill State Park (formerly Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park) in southeastern Georgia, a Denis Griffiths design that opened in 2008 and immediately established itself as one of the Georgia State Parks Golf Trail's most architecturally-ambitious courses. The par-71 layout plays to just under 7,000 yards from the tips, with five sets of tees that keep the course accessible for all skill levels. The signature moment is the par-3 15th, a 207-yard tee shot that plays over scenic wetlands to a large, undulating island green, one of the most dramatic holes on the entire Georgia State Parks circuit. A 1,500-yard winding bridge carries players from the original holes out to the back nine, which plays links-style across windswept open landscape very different from the wooded front. For the Georgia State Parks Golf Trail trip visitor, Brazell's Creek is a must-include stop, both for Griffiths's architectural ambition and for state-park pricing that makes multi-round days realistic.
Brazell's Creek Golf Course's peak-season green fee is around $47 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Georgia State Parks Trail trip cost
