Bob Cupp designed Emerald Bay in 1992 along the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay — the most visually dramatic of the Destin-area courses. The back nine opens up to wide bay views with several holes playing along the water. More character and better conditioning than the mass-market Sandestin courses, and worth the modest premium for groups wanting the best non-resort round on the Emerald Coast.
