Rees Jones designed Burnt Pine in 1994 as the most exclusive of the four 18-hole courses at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on Florida's Emerald Coast. The 7,000-yard layout threads pine forests, wetlands, and Choctawhatchee Bay water views — Jones at his typical strategic best, with prominent water and bunkering on most approach shots.
