David Graham and Gary Panks designed the Talon at Grayhawk in 1994 as the resort's more strategic layout, tighter than the Raptor, with well-guarded greens that punish lazy approaches. The back nine is built around a series of deep box canyons with holes laid along steep drop-offs. The par-3 11th plays from a back tee accessed via a swinging bridge over a desert canyon. The drivable par-4 13th is called Heaven or Hell. Pairs naturally with the Raptor for a 36-hole day at Grayhawk.
Grayhawk: Talon Course's peak-season green fee is around $350 per round. Off-peak rates vary by season. Call the pro shop for current shoulder pricing. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Scottsdale trip cost
