Pete Dye designed Harbour Town Golf Links in 1969 (Jack Nicklaus consulting), a tight, tree-lined par-71 layout that runs through Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island. The finish is among the most famous in public-access golf: the par-3 17th over water, and the par-4 18th playing alongside Calibogue Sound under the iconic red-and-white Harbour Town Lighthouse. A comprehensive restoration led by Davis Love III's design company reopened the course in 2025 after the RBC Heritage. Harbour Town has hosted the RBC Heritage (PGA Tour) every year since 1969, one of only a handful of courses to host the same PGA Tour event continuously for more than five decades. The RBC Heritage is a designated Signature Event on the PGA Tour (elevated field, $20M+ purse). Harbour Town is consistently ranked among America's 100 Greatest Public Courses.
Harbour Town Golf Links's peak-season green fee is around $470 per round; off-peak rates drop to about $195. Cart, range balls, and caddie fees are typically separate. Estimate the full Hilton Head trip cost
